The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club, which is affiliated with the Palatine Park District, provides youth soccer programs for girls and boys ages 6-18. The Celtic Soccer Club was founded in 1968 by Jimmy Kinsella, a transplanted Scotsman, who named the Club after his home club, Glasgow Celtic.

The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is organized into two programs: The Travel Program is for competitive, skilled players, and the House Program is designed for recreational players.  We have about 85 teams total in the U8 - U14 boys' and girls' divisions in our House Program.  USSF licensed coaches guide the competitive Travel Program, which includes roughly 33 teams across our U9 through U19 divisions. Both the House and Travel Programs are governed by the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club Board of Directors.

Additionally, for over 25 years, our Club has hosted the annual Palatine Celtic Cup Tournament featuring over 300 teams from across the Midwestern U.S.
